TechRadars' Top 20 Smartphones( HTC takes the Cake!) and some Mobile Multitracking

One of my fave technology sites to find info about all things Technology Tech Radar, has released a list of the the top 20 Best Mobile (Smartphones) in the World. It appears that HTC is killing the competition out there. This includes Apple, Samsung and Motorola (actually Google, since they bought Motorola Mobility awhile back)
Is anyone jumping at the chance to get the new iPad Air? Not me, I primarily would use it for Garage Band and some other Multitrack mobile recording solutions. I think I will hold off until the iPad 7 or 8 and see how far the software and hardware will come in the next few years. I tend to use Caustic 2 on my Android tablet, It's pretty powerful for a a few bucks. I still love my my  old school-non HD iRig, I use a lot with the Fender Amplitude App . I will hold out until Apple releases at least more possibilities with  a Garage Band Pro App for a faster iPad iteration or better yet, Logic Pro X  (iPad) or something along the lines of that instead of getter a thinner iPad at the moment...

Move along now, nothing to see

Nothing too exciting today unless the Kindle Fire forces Apple and the slew of other tablets makers on the market to be more competitive on pricing. Yeah! Go Jeff Bezos! Way to force the other OEM's hands at lowering the ridiculous price of these things! Really who wouldn't want a screaming fast quad, or 8 core tablet. If it will run Flash, Adobe Photoshop and Hash Master animation software, I am in like Flynn!

Bad Blog poster!

Ok. I have been a slacker. I have not posted since September of last year. I make a New Year's resolution to get with the program and start posting way more frequently! Be that as it may. I recently started a Word Press Blog.
I was reading online at Yahoo the other day that all IT professionals could benefit from learning Word Press platform, as at some point in their career, they will delve into New Media and Publishing. So hey, what's MORE software to learn? This is what IT Pros do, daily, weekly and monthly. It definitely pays to be better then my competition.

Citizen Mayor-NWFF-Local Sightings festival

Most recently, 10 original songs of mine were included in the Citizen Mayor soundtrack.
These 10 songs include: Land O' Dance, 60's Surf Organ, Island Style, Blu-Bop, Tranced,These Things,Techno-ish, Tre Trip Hop, Un-Rehearsal, Beats Apogo. All songs were written and performed by: Winston H. Barnard III. Winston works with Hunter Media Productions, & Atlas Productions on collaborative projects. Citizen Mayor will be featured at the North West Film Festival's Local Sightings festival.October 3, 2010 Sunday at 7pm is the world premiere of Citizen Mayor.

Canon's new 3D camera set up

Canon is using a set up with 2 of it's XF105s camera's to produce a 3D set to film. This should be pretty nice to have a 3D camera that the average consumer can save up for. Maybe not so spendy as one of these Red Scarlet. With 2 of these, I could be the next hip filmmaker!

Citizen Mayor-Seattle Mayor Race

We just completed Citizen Mayor, a film documentary involving those who ran for mayor, their story's, their positions and what the gubernatorial race was like to run and win and lose. It's a great study in politics, social engineering and also in real life. We helped contribute 5 original songs to the sound track. View Citizen Mayor trailer. Google will take over

It seems that the Google is poised to take over the world. They plan to sell 55 million Android OS smartphones this year. What it amounts to is to is Android smartphone sales in 2010 are 560% more then 2009! I know where I would like to work! What I really like about being a Gen X baby myself is how embedded we all are with Technology. Even better is having a Gen Y individual tell me and I quote, "Agh, you got a Treo?? That's so 2007!" Here are some fun things to try with an Android phone. Not sure which one I would purchase a Droid X or a Droid Incredible.

DARPA'S new camera in development can scan your eyes without you even knowing it. Nice 1984, just like Orwell wrote about. Thoughtcrime may be on the rise next, we better watch what we are thinking!
